Echo offers its apprentices the opportunity to study theology in a master’s degree program at the University of Notre Dame. Apprentices engage in coursework in biblical studies, history of Christianity, liturgical studies, moral theology, systematic theology, spirituality, and catechesis, and participate in pastoral courses, including family life ministry and ministry to young adults.
Apprentices earn the majority of their credits during two summers on campus, with remaining coursework taken on-line during the academic year. In July of the third summer, apprentices return to campus for comprehensive examinations. The academic component of Echo is complemented by and integrated into the other areas of formation in Echo.
