Dear Echo apprentices and alums:

We are delighted to announce an excellent opportunity for ongoing formation and continuing education at the University of Notre Dame this summer.   Echo’s sister center, the Notre Dame Center for Liturgy, is hosting its annual Symposium from June 17 to June 20.   This Symposium will be especially relevant and helpful to pastors and associate pastors, liturgical ministers, and leaders in the areas of Christian formation and religious education.   Would you please share this information with colleagues and friends who might be interested in attending?

As a whole, the 2013 Symposium will explore how baptism, confirmation, and Eucharist transform us into beloved children, imitators of God.   The central theme of the Symposium is deification, the process of salvation in which we enter into the divine life of God through the Church.   The Symposium will provide the basis of a liturgical catechesis for the sacraments of initiation, including the R.C.I.A., infant baptism, evangelization and culture, art, confirmation, and sainthood.   More information on the Symposium, as well as means for registering are available at the following link:   If you have any particular questions, you may contact me directly at  While spots are limited, we still have plenty of room for folks who’d want to attend.
